Salvatore Siciliano is an artist who works and lives in Berlin, Germany.
Salvatore Siciliano was born in 1989 in Cosenza, Italy. As a child, he developed his interest in drawing as well as art history. As far as the fine arts are concerned, the artist joined the Accademia di Brera in Milan and was followed by a solid training in dance and choreography at the Accademia Susanna Beltrami. During his studies in Milan, Salvatore Siciliano collaborated as choreographer and visual artist with NABA Milano, Istituto Europeo di Design Milano and Ansaldo Space Fashion and Design. Since 2012 he has worked as a dancer in various European communities and in 2015 he founded the Siciliano Contemporary Ballet (SCB) in Berlin.

Salvatore Siciliano’s work deeply embraces varied dimensions and universes. Drawing, painting and movement are intrinsically part of his compositions loaded with inspirations the artist’s practice in the universe of dance and choreography that comes to enrich the strong sensuality of his works.
In a certain way, with bases of interpretation between religion and sensuality, between the theatrical and the raw, the works of Salvatore Siciliano evoke connections and analysis on the complexity of the unconscious and the corporal, to later end up in distortions, sometimes brutal. Tension and instability, where themes between the earthly and celestial intersect, undeniably mark the artist’s work.
